What are the licensing fees?
If you login to the DARS platform, you will see a pricing section which includes information around our fees and available rights. Generally, you will receive from us a free quote based on selected content in your basket before your proceed with placing an order. Our team is available to explore alternative rights packages to meet your requirements.
Can I get a screener or comps to use before licensing?
Yes, you can receive watermarked high-res comps or low-res screeners to put into your editing timeline for testing. You can download a complimentary proxy of the file with the download button on the player or request a watermarked high resolution version for a technical service fee. Just send us the basket with the high-resolution comp request ticked. Please note that, unless a licence is purchased, you cannot use those in any final projects or productions.
What payment methods do you offer?
We can offer payment on invoice or Paypal based payment methods where you will receive a link to settle an electronic invoice via Paypal, offering a wide variety of secure payment methods including Credit Cards, Electronic Payment methods and Debit Cards.
What formats do you deliver?
Generally, we offer the original clip quality in Broadcast formats (usually IMX30/50, AVC100, ProRes or DNDHD/DV Format). If you require post production services from format conversion to de-interlacing or upconversion, we offer a range of services through our media processing and digitization operations. How do you deliver the master files?
We can deliver the files in many different days. This includes a delivery as a secure download via Google Cloud, an upload into cloud buckets, or as a physical media couriered to you on HDDs. It often also depends on the data size of the ordered masters, just let us know how you want to receive the masters on the checkout page and we will include your choice into our proposal to you.
Can I negotiate the pricing?
We can help you optimize the licence fee by aligning it to your requirements. Depending on the volume of content you license, we also offer volume discounts. Please get in touch with our team to explore what we can do for your project.
